Ingredients
  

1 package (about 15 oz) of graham crackers

2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix

4 cups milk

1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

1 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup milk (for icing)

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding mix and 4 cups of milk. Whisk until smooth and let it sit for about 5 minutes until thickened.

    Gently fold in the whipped topping until well combined. This will create a creamy filling for the cake.

      In a separate bowl, prepare the chocolate icing by creaming together the softened butter, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar. Gradually add 1/4 cup of milk and the vanilla extract, mixing until smooth and spreadable.

        In a 9x13 inch dish, lay down a single layer of graham crackers, covering the bottom.

          Spread half of the pudding mixture over the graham crackers, smoothing it evenly.

            Add another layer of graham crackers on top of the pudding.

              Spread the remaining pudding mixture on top of the second layer of graham crackers.

                Top with a final layer of graham crackers to finish the cake.

                  Spread the chocolate icing over the top layer of graham crackers, ensuring it covers the entire surface.

                    Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. This allows the graham crackers to soften and the flavors to meld beautifully.
